Dubbed the “Fried Egg” pump plate, this single sided porcelain sign dates from the 1950s and was seen throughout the Texas landscape. It measures nine and a half inches tall by fifteen and a quarter inches wide. “Use Gloco Hi’R Octane” is the printing on the porcelain face, with a makers mark of “McAX” below the center bottom mounting grommet. Some light chipping can be seen around the outer die cut edge, with some slight staining in the white portion of the porcelain on the left side. A larger chip is along the upper edge, with a much smaller place along the bottom edge. Nice piece that is just the right size for display in your pump plate collection. 20526-QQIP
