During the 1930s, Pontiac stylized their logo from the iconic Indian Head to a more streamlined, less “cartoonish” Native American, and this logo was the result. This embossed square metal sign features the logo in gold, with a black background, and white “Pontiac” letters across the top. It features a cardboard backer with a hanging string at the top with three small hooks on the bottom, and is marked “Copyright By Frank Cavanau Associates, Detroit 5, Michigan” across the top.
