This unusual industrial thermometer was manufactured by the U. S. Gauge Co. in New York, probably in the 1950’s or 1960’s. It has a porcelain face that reads from 40 to 260 degrees, attached to a threaded base, so it was most likely used on a boiler of some type. It measures 10″ long by 1 3/4″ wide and is in excellent condition with minor corrosion on the base. 14341-11WP
