This beautifully lithographed paper sign dates from the 1880s or 1890s and depicts a pretty young girl holding a container of Ayer’s pills. One can imagine that she is bringing the pills to her mother or father to help them feel better. Like many pills during this time, they were a cure-all for anything that you thought was wrong with you, as not many people went to a doctor. Professional restoration has been done along the right side, and the paper has visible folds. The colors are sharp on this paper sign that has been professionally matted and framed. The frame measures 23 inches tall by 17.5 inches wide. 14446-31YPP
