1928 M. E. Fairey Grocery Store Coca-Cola Advertising Calendar

As a way of saying “Thank you”, M. E. Fairey gave these calendars to their customers. The calendar bears a graphic of a young lady enjoying a glass of Coca-Cola, with the iconic hobbleskirt bottle on the table beside her. The red and white Coca-Cola logo sits above the M. E. Fairley name, below which reads “Fancy and Staple Groceries – Selling Agent for Purina Feeds” and “Top Prices Paid for Country Produce”, along with the location of “Branchville, S. C.” At the bottom of the ad is a full calendar from 1928, without any months torn off. The calendar measures 13.75 inches tall by 7.75 inches wide and is in new-old-stock condition.
