1930 Baby Ruth Candy Box

This large cardboard candy display box dates from the 1930’s and originally held twenty-four Curtiss Baby Ruth five cent candy bars. On the lid is an image of a giant Baby Ruth Bar being held up by two Curtiss “NRG Guys” while a third yells into a bullhorn “Rich in Dextrose the sugar you need for Energy.” There is even a seal of approval from the American Medical Association Committee on Foods ! My, how attitudes about candy have changed. The box measures eight inches tall by eleven and three quarters inches wide by two and a quarter inches deep and is in good condition with scuffs and edge wear, creases and discoloration. 9782-51WT
