Nothing is more colorful than coffee tins on a shelf and this one is eye catching in red. This colorful key wind tin dates from the 1930’s or 1940’s and originally held one pound of “Atwood’s Private Brand The Coffee of Good Taste,” packed by Atwood Coffee Company in Minneapolis, MN. The tin is bright red with a white band around the top and is decorated with sprigs of coffee beans. On the back is an image of a full coffee cup with listings of how many cups of coffee, mild, medium, or strong, the purchaser can expect to get out of a pound. The tin measures three and a half inches tall by five inches in diameter and is in excellent condition with minor nicks and scratches on the sides and a little bit of surface rust on the lid. 9866-WT
