1940s Chevrolet Dealership Masonite Die-Cut Sign V8 Engine

Description

When World War II happened, metal was a commodity used for all the war efforts. Due to the metal shortage, sign makers had to utilize other materials for advertising. Masonite was a choice, as it was lightweight and easily cut. This 1940s Chevrolet dealership sign features the iconic Chevrolet bow tie logo and the “V” below it. The silver and maroon colors look fantastic, with minimal facial scuff marks. Some minor chips can be seen around the outer edge. The original chain hanger is on the back, so the Chevrolet dealership could easily hang it. 20852-
