Coca Cola made sure its retailers had plenty of signage on their store, and were pretty strict about how it was displayed. Always changing their signs, this fishtail logo sign dates from the early 1960’s, possibly 1961. The colors are just right, with the red grabbing your attention on the white background. Some slight chips with rust can be seen on the outer lips of the sign, with the worse being in the upper right corner. Because these signs were outside, many met their maker with typical weather conditions. The reverse side of this large sign has some minor rusting on the inner edges with paint missing. The curved ends give this sign a super nice 3D look, and reminds you of a sled with how the sign is made.
