A. N. Russell & Sons designed ribbon cabinets that allowed general stores to display ribbons for sale. This oak cabinet measures 18 inches wide, 25.75 inches tall, and 29 inches long. The beautiful oak wood is impressive, with intricate detail throughout. The front and back feature plate glass, which allows customers to see which ribbons are in stock and ready to purchase. The three sliding middle sections set this piece apart from other ribbon cabinets. Horizontal handles are attached to the wooden drawers, allowing the customer to open the sections from either side easily. Each section has four shelves measuring 3 inches wide. The engraved plate on the front reads “A. N. Russell & Sons,” and “Ilion, N. Y.”. Some light scratches are on the wood finish, and a small dent in the top. 21210-TWT
