If the design looks familiar to you, it probably is! Originally Standard Oil Trust, this American Gas sign is now recognizable as Amoco. It is double sided metal sign with a die cut flame attached to the top of one side. The oval measures seventy-four inches wide, and forty-four inches tall. The metal sign is all original with very nice gloss and sharp colors. A few minor chips can be seen around the outer edge with a few chips on the backside of the sign. The die cut flame that is atop has been remade to give the sign some extra pop. It is painted and looks fantastic. This sign is marked “SP 3 69” in the lower portion.
