In the 1950’s, Wildroot cream oil hair tonic was all the rage among young men and barber shops proudly displayed this metal embossed sign to let them know! The letters along with the barber shop pole are embossed on this colorful sign, plus the outer edge is self framed, a rarity today! The colors on this sign are super impressive and stand out nicely against the white background. It is marked “W-65” in the lower left corner, along with “A-M Sign Co., Lynchburg, Va. , 9-65” A dent on the left and right sides of the sign can be seen along with some paint damage from the dents.
