This neat lady’s advertising pocket mirror is made of celluloid and has an oval glass. The back is inscribed “Souvenir – At the Prado Bar you will always drink aromatic coffee made while you wait – lunch and beverages, best kind cigars, refreshments – ice-creams – Prado St. No.2, phone M-4052.” The handle is embossed “Barrero & Co. M-8484.” I believe that the mirror is a prohibition era piece because it advertises a bar serving coffee. No liquor products are mentioned. Barrero is probably the manufacturer of the piece. The mirror measures 4 3/4″ long by 1 3/4″ wide and is in excellent condition. Circa 1920’s. 8781-WT
