If you love hard to find signs, take a look at this colorful Marhoefer’s Perfect Bread sign that just arrived! It is dated 1957 in the lower right corner, and features a wrapped loaf of Marhoefer’s bread. The outer frame is sunk in from the sign, giving it that cool 3D look. The Marhoefer’s cursive letters, the loaf of bread, and the words at the bottom “Perfect Bread” are all embossed. It is marked “A-M Sign Co., Lynchburg, Va., 10-57” in the lower right corner. All of the outer corners have some paint loss with some metal showing, especially the upper right. The sign has some minor edge wear with some crazing on the edges. A few minor scratches on the face of the sign are visible with some wear on the bottom letters. The “M” in Marhoefer’s has some minor paint loss as well.
