Dating from the 1950’s to 1960’s this die cut wooden store display would have sat on a store owner’s counter and provided both a chuckle and a message. You would have smiled when you saw Buster Brown in a tug-o-war with his dog Tige over a pair of tights, then you realized they were also showing you how tough their line of clothes are. This sign is double sided, so it could be placed anywhere the store owner wanted to make sure their customers saw it. The sign is in excellent shape, as are the decals. I don’t see any chips or scratches, this is a very nice sign and will look great in your country store display.
