Coca Cola Pepsin Gum Paper Fan & Postcard Richmond VA

From 1905 to 1911, the Franklin Manufacturing Company in Richmond, Virginia produced Coca-Cola Pepsin gum. The postcard has a picture of the Washington Monument in Richmond, and is marked “Home of the Celebrated Coca Cola Pepsin Gum”. The postcard has not been used and looks to be in amazing shape for over 100 years old. In 1911 the company changed it’s name to the Franklin-Caro Company, but stayed in Richmond, Virginia. The new company expanded the gum line to include more Pepsin gum flavors. The fan is from this era, as it is marked “Manufactured by Franklin-Caro Co. Richmond, Va.”, with “Chew Coca Cola Gum” on the back. The front shows Virginia’s State Capitol, the Governor’s Mansion, and the Washington Equestrian Monument. It also states Richmond is the home of Coca-Cola Gum. The fan is made of cardboard with a wooden stick stapled to the back. Two bends at the top of the fan, one about 1/2 inch from the top, and the other 3 inches from the top. Amazing shape for over 100 years old, and will be the centerpiece of your collection! 18231-21QQWQ
