This small Cornelius soda dispenser was dubbed “Tombstone” by its users due to how it appeared when attached to the top of the soda fountain counter in the 1950s. The simple design allowed three different sodas to be dispensed and left plenty of room on the counter for customers to eat. The red Coca-Cola button is on each side, with one side only reading Coca-Cola and the other reading “Drink Coca-Cola Prepared By The Bottler Of Coca-Cola.” Each chrome band has some oxidation, with one side worse. The fountain side of the dispenser has a crack in the housing on the lower right side of the original housing. The three soda dispensers are Root Beer, Coca-Cola, and Bubble Up. All three pull nicely, but the Root Beer one has a crack where it attaches. This dispenser still retains the original metal grate and the original mounting brackets, which are marked “Cornelius.” It’s a super lovely dispenser that is seldom seen complete. 21157-EEP
