There is nothing more iconic than a beautiful red cooler with white Coca-Cola letters sitting inside your local grocery store or gas station, waiting for you to open up one of the double doors and grab a six-pack or just a single 6.5-ounce bottle for instant refreshment. This large, double-opening Westinghouse cooler, model WD10, was produced from 1948 to 1956 and operated on electricity, a significant improvement over manually adding ice to the cooler on a daily basis. The cooler is in excellent physical condition and appears to have had a full restoration a number of years ago. A few minor chips are visible on the finish, but they do not detract from the overall condition of this machine. It is complete with the bottle cap bin, but missing the bottle opener that sits inside. Measurements are approximately 45 inches long, 28 inches wide, and 36 inches tall. The handles and interior metal hardware exhibit some oxidation, as shown in the pictures. One of the inside plastic lids has large cracks. Once plugged in, the electric motor comes on and runs, but the machine does not cool. Due to the size and weight, this item will require a pickup from our location in Tasley, Virginia. 21354-TPP
