As Coca-Cola always states, “Thirst knows no season” and this seasonal winter lithograph got the point across in the winter of 1956. Great looking and simple, this cardboard poster shows a man’s gloved hand giving a lady an ice cold Coca-Cola bottle. The lady is dressed in winter appropriate clothing, complete with gloves, hat and red winter coat. “The best of taste” written across the top with the iconic red Coca-Cola button on the left side of the litho made you thirsty for a Coke. In the lower left corner it is marked: Copyright 1956, The Coca-Cola Company – Litho in U.S.A. At the bottom of the sign in the center, it instructed retailers which months to use this certain sign: This Design To Be Displayed During November, December, January, February. As it was used in a wooden Kay Frame, this sign has some wear on the left upper corner with a small bend and slight separation of the litho from the cardboard, and the litho is chipped on the bottom of the sign, from where it was dropped into the frame.
