This tiny counter top showcase dates from around the turn of the 20th century and is made primarily of oak. It has a glass top and front with wooden panels on the sides with a rear lift door, half round moldings on the top, and quarter round moldings on the front and sides. It may be a salesman’s sample, but I think that it’s more likely a case to display a specific product on a store counter. The case measures 6 1/2″ tall by 18 3/4″ wide by 6 1/2″ deep and is in excellent condition with replaced glass and a replaced front top molding. The interior has been lined with black velvet.
