Primitive general store work table probably has a long history in many buildings. The base of the table and the legs have several coats of paint on them and now have a cracking effect finish. Board top is especially interesting as it is individual 3″ x 29.5″ boards put together to stretch across the table. There is staining (which looks from black ink), as well as the normal well and tear. The boards are held in place with a molding which wraps around the table to the top. Especially nice long table, which could have been used as a fabric table to hold bolts of material in a country store. It measures 95″ long x 29.5″ wide and 30″ high.
