A cherry finish was applied to the maple wood, and the rear-hinged doors were painted. The wood is in excellent shape, as are the nickel accents. Both the rear doors are hinged on the bottom to allow access to the inside and feature the original mirrors inside. At one time, latches were installed on the rear doors, and you can see the screw holes in the wood on the back doors and along the top edge.
