Tin cans allowed companies to display logos and cities on the sides, and they were thin enough to allow the oysters to stay cold when packed in ice. This gallon features a generic picture of a sailboat with “Delicious Oysters” on the front. The bottom edge reads “Jones Bros Chincoteague VA VA 136”.
