This cool Dixie cup dispenser would have been at home in your local soda fountain in the 1930’s to 1940’s. The aluminum is marked “Dixies” on right side with patent numbers on the front, and the requirement that you only use cups made and sold by The Individual Drinking Cup Co. Inc. Easton Pa. The base has some corrosion on the back of it where it mounts to the wall, plus some inside. We do not have the wall mount that goes with this dispenser. The mechanism on the dispenser requires you to pull it to the left and then back to the right to dispense a cup. The original glass that keeps the cups displayed for all to see is a twelve sided polygon called a dodecagon. It has a domed top and slides into the base with ease. No chips or cracks in the glass, we just see one or two impurities in the glass when it was produced. 19014-QP
