Designed to hang outside your local store, this round Dr. Pepper thermometer dates from the 1960s and is in fantastic shape! Although short-lived, Dr. Pepper’s “Hot or Cold” marketing slogan was to combat the drop in sales of cold drinks during the cold winter months. When warm, Dr. Pepper becomes more like a hot cider, rather than your typical soda. Unfortunately, it did not stick, and the fad soon faded. The face of this metal thermometer is in great shape, with a convex protective glass covering it. The rubber gasket is not sealed completely around the outer lip, which has caused some hazing inside the glass. It measures 18 inches tall by 18 inches side to side. 20855-EIT
