Tin tacker signs are very rare to find in nice shape these days, due to the thin tin construction and the daily use they received. With the slogan “Nectar For A Nickel”, this Fruit Bowl tin sign measures 3.75 inches tall by 23.25 inches wide, and is in unused condition. The “Fruit Bowl” letters are embossed, and it is stamped “Stout Sign Co., St. Louis, Mo.”on the right side. Nice gloss throughout the sign. In the middle, you can see two places and a line where the green background did not cover the white basecoat during production. Along the outer edge, very minor chipping is evident up close. 21488-EOP
