Wonder Soda produced some great flavored sodas, such as Pineapple, Grapefruit, Grape, and, of course, Orange! This thermometer tells us to “Drink Wonder Orange” at the top, with the words “Also Wonder Pineapple – Orange – Grapefruit – Grape” at the bottom. It dates from the early 1940’s and has a great casual font that puts the reader at ease. It measures 39 inches tall by 8 inches wide and has the original glass thermometer tube. The top and bottom mounting holes have been pushed in slightly with some minor chips around them. The area around the thermometer degrees has some finish discoloration, which also affects the white numbers. Two circular scratches mar the “Drink” letters at the top, and a few light scratches are visible in the white letters beneath. A few scratches are visible on the outer edges of the thermometer, but they have not been touched up. It is marked “W-210” at the very bottom.
