Rich in history, Duncan Coffee Company was founded by Herschel Duncan in 1918, and was once merged with the Coca Cola Company! Duncan wanted to roast only the smoothest coffee, and sold it only to the finest hotels, restaurants, and railroad dining cars. This Admiration Coffee porcelain sign was once affixed to one of Duncan’s commercial coffee urns in one of the above locations. It is curved to fit flat on the urn, and held in place by four mounting holes in the outer corners. Some light chipping can be seen in the upper left mounting hole.
