Early Electric Car Lithograph Advertising Sign Rauch Lang

Dating from the early 20th century, this paper advertisement has a wonderful image of a forlorn carriage horse peering sadly out of his stall window, as his owner opts for the modern convenience of a Rauch & Lang electric automobile. The simple word “Jilted” sums up this picturesque lithograph, which was produced by The Otis Lithograph Company in Cleveland, Ohio. The colors on the lithograph have remained very sharp over the past century, with some small dark spots on the left side of the litho. A very small tear is in the lower right corner by the wheel of the electric automobile, and can be seen under close inspection. The outer frame appears to be original to the litho, with just some minor chips around the outer lip. Very rare find to add to your collection. 19444-UPP
