This colorful cardboard tube, dating from the 1950s, originally held “China Colourd Sparklers,” manufactured in India by China Fire Works. The sides of the tube are decorated with images a Hindu girl dancing with sparklers in her hands above the company trade mark Taj Mahal logo. On the front and back sides of the lid are labels, inscribed “China Atom Bomb,” showing a couple of children walking past an exploding firework and on the top, a round label, decorated with a pair of cobras, is inscribed “Naugbauy Best Quality.” The tube measures 11 1/2 inches tall by 3 3/8 inches in diameter and is in good condition with soiling and wear. 1290-81YP
