Firestone produced tires for farm tractors as well as passenger cars, and this Ground Grip sign hung below a larger Firestone sign at your local farm and implement station. It measures nine inches tall by sixty-five inches long, and is self framed with six aluminum grommets. A few marks can be seen on the outer white frame, along with some marks on the white letters. A deep scratch has led to paint loss on the left side of the sign. It is dated 1948 in the lower right corner with the marking “M. C. A. 4 48”.
