Manufactured in Canada in the 1920s or 1930s, this rare cylindrical ice cream scoop was designed for making “Cold Dogs,” a kind of ice cream sandwich which consisted of a chocolate covered tubular pastry filled with ice cream. It is made of nickel plated brass with a wooden handle and measures about 10 1/2 inches long by 6 inches wide.
