Dating from the early 1900’s, these metal holders would have been used regularly in your local ice cream parlor or soda fountain. Ice cream would have been dipped into a paper cone and then the paper cone would have been dropped into these metal holders for patrons to enjoy! The metal handle on the side kept your hands from getting cold, and when you were done, the paper cone was tossed and these cup holders were rinsed and ready for the next patron! Each one is marked “Vortex” with “Trade Mark” on each side. It has patent dates also stamped, with years ending in “12, 14, 15, 16”. All four are in great shape and could be polished if desired. 19296-QP
