The sign is decorated with an orange triangle on a beige background with black lettering and trim; the sign is inscribed “For Sale apply to S. Franklyn Woodcock Real Estate Salisbury, MD. Phone-360.” Mr. Woodcock was a real estate developer and philanthropist who, amongst other things, in 1946, donated the land to the city where the Civic Center in Salisbury, MD, was built.
