GE Westinghouse Live Better Electrically Dealer Lighted Sign

It’s hard to believe in today’s world, but in the 1950s, General Electric and Westinghouse sponsored a multi-million dollar campaign to promote the sales of electric appliances and tout the benefits of electric power. This glass bubble-faced light-up sign originally hung in a GE or Westinghouse dealer’s window, letting customers know where to purchase their electric appliances. The glass face features reverse graphics that read “Live Better Electrically”, and has very light wear on the glass face. Below the round light is a metal “Dealer” plate that looks just as pristine as the glass light up. Produced by Advertising Products, Inc., located in Cincinnati, Ohio, we date this light up from the late 1950s. 20976-ITP
