This rare General Electric Telechron promotional clock is designed to resemble the “Monitor Top” refrigerator that G.E. produced between 1928 and 1931. From what we can find, this clock was a gift-with-purchase when the family bought a G.E. Monitor Top refrigerator. The Warren Telechron Company made the clock, and General Electric held a large ownership stake. This cast-metal clock features a power indicator (a small circular opening under the ‘12’) that shows a red dot when power is interrupted. Once plugged in, it works as expected and runs quietly. The outer finish has minor chips, and it is missing the round knob that attaches to the clock set shaft. It measures 8.25 inches tall, 5.25 inches wide, and 3.5 inches deep. 21696-QTT
