Originally used in the window of your local Gulf service station, this paper poster reminded customers to get Glulfex Lubrication every 1000 miles so their ride would be smooth. It features a great color color picture of a country gent behind the wheel of his truck complete with a cowboy hat and a bandanna around his neck. In the lower left corner this poster is marked “FORM AD-5511-G – To be posted May16-31 At all Stations rendering Gulflex Services.”, so this was their spring time advertising campaign to get their customers ready for summer. We are thinking it dates from the late 1950’s to early 1960’s based upon the colors and the image on the poster. We have framed and matted this great piece to protect it for years to come.
