It carries the original metal tag along the lower front edge from “Chas Kreiger – New Orleans, Louisiana”, its maker. The showcase is in its original condition, with light wear and patina on the wood. The beveled glass top has a chip along the right edge, with minor glass missing. The top glass also has wear from use, along with a few scratches. The rear doors slide with ease, with brass hardware including a sliding door lock. Inside are two glass shelves with metal hardware. The showcase measures 71 inches long, 42 inches tall, and 25.5 inches deep. It is missing the lower molding below the side glass on the left side.
