Made by the Benedict Manufacturing Company in Syracuse, NY., the “Indestructo” model 14 ice cream scoop has a patent date of 7-3-1928 stamped on the lever. It is made of nickel plated brass with a wooden handle and a spring loaded lever and wiper, and measures 9 3/8 inches long with a 2 inch wide bowl. This example is in excellent working condition with some surface wear through to the brass. 3716-71RP
