Just looking at this great tray makes me want to grab a banana split! Produced by Harrington’s Ice Cream, this round tin serving tray tells everyone the their ice cream is “Always the Best”, and features a large banana split with strawberries, cherries, chocolate syrup, and plenty of ice cream to go around. The gold trim around the edge really makes this tray stand out and draws your eyes to the prize inside the tray. Some minor wear marks around the lip with some wear just inside the lip in a few places. The inside of the tray has some small scratches in the center artwork, so you can see the gold trim underneath it. A larger mark to the left of the banana split has been touched up sometime in it’s lifetime. We do not see a date or manufacturer mark on this serving tray, but it is probably from the late 1920’s.
