Manufactured in Germany in the 1930s, this nickel plated brass ice cream scoop has a particularly small bowl, only 1 1/4 inches in diameter, probably meant for filling “penny lick” cups or for serving sorbet between courses at fancy dinners. The wiper is actuated by squeezing the handle which is embossed “Made In Germany Standard” on the end. The scoop measures 8 1/8 inches long by 2 inches wide and is in excellent working condition with minor nicks and wear. 3702-71QP
