The TD-24 Crawler was produced by International Harvester from 1947 to 1963, so this thermometer dates from that time period. What makes it unique is its brass outer display of a ship’s wheel. The outer display measures 8.25 inches tall by 8.25 inches wide, with a few minor dents on the outer edges. The inside graphic is a colorful TD-24 in red, with “International Diesel” on the hood. The graphic is printed on canvas and attached to an aluminum backer, which in turn is attached to the thermometer. The thermometer is working, albeit reading warmer than the actual temperature.
