Specifically designed for a hand operated oil lubester, this small double sided porcelain sign let the service station operator know which type of oil was inside. Dating from the 1920s to 1930s, this Iso Vis motor oil was issued by Standard Oil Company – Indiana. Great colors on this 7 inch sign that has sharp gloss in the field with minor chips in the porcelain finish around the outer edge. Some wear can be seen at the base of the sign where it attached to the lubester. This was common, as these signs were bent at times, which cracked the porcelain and caused the damage.
