Dating from the late 19th or early 20th century, this colorful, embossed die-cut cardboard, perhaps a calendar top, is decorated with an image, framed in a garland of violets, of a little girl in a pink dress playing her guitar as her little dog howls in accompaniment. A green banner at the bottom is inscribed “With Compliments J. H. Stahl, Hardware, Implements, Buggies, &c. Carrothers, O.” Excellent condition with an extra tack hole near the top, several surface dings, and minor edge wear on the left side. It measures 16 3/4 inches tall by 11 1/2 inches wide and has been framed for display and protection. 3827-71EPP
