Circa 1950’s woven reed Easter basket with a bamboo rim and bamboo loop handle. It is marked “Japan” on the bottom. The body is rectangular and made of red braided reed strips and green flat reed strips. A cardboard tag is attached to the handle with an image of a yellow duckling beside a bed of tulips and the inscription “Easter Greetings.” “Charles” has been written on the back of the tag. The basket is in excellent condition, with some warping and fading. 7098-10QP
