Check out this rare Kessler Whiskey advertising lamp that just arrived! It features Kessler’s chalkware baseball player, complete with his bat in his right hand and “Smooth As Silk Kessler” across his chest. The base he is standing on also reads “Smooth As Silk Kessler”. Minor chips and a small cut above his belt buckle are on the chalkware figure, which is attached to a metal lamp base. The lamp shade is also marked “Kessler Smooth As Silk” with blue and red images of basketball, hockey, football, boxing, baseball, and bowling repeating twice around the shade. The shade is plastic and has two cracks and paint splatter. Once attached, the lamp measures 22 inches tall with a 6-inch base. The shade measures 10 inches wide by 8 inches tall. The metal lamp base has chips in the paint, along with an original felt cover on the bottom, and an original power cord. The felt has separated from the bottom but is still partially attached.
