In the 1920’s, cars were large, so license tags were large as well! This plate measures thirteen and a half inches long by five and a half inches tall. The colors were changed yearly in Virginia, and this one has a dark blue background with white raised numbers/letters. A hole in each corner was added in the past for display purposes. Originally the tag was attached to the vehicle using the two oblong top holes. Some minor wear on the white letters with a small bend in the upper right corner can be seen on this vintage plate.
