This colorful lithographed trade card dates from around 1900 and has a wonderful image of a “sun bonnet girl” and a “golliwog” seesawing on a candy cane with a chocolate drop pivot. The card is inscribed “G. G. Ehrmann & Sons, Confectioners, 375 Market and 328 Preston Sts., Louisville, KY.” “Louis Kollenberg,” most likely the name of a candy shop owner who handled Ehrmann candies, is inscribed in the lower left corner. The card measures 2 3/4 inches tall by 4 inches wide and is in excellent condition with some surface damage on the back from being glued in a scrap book. 3578-71WT
