Dating from the early 20th century this match safe was a free advertising premium, given to customers “compliments of John Hilkene, Saloon, Pool Room, Hall & Barber Shop” in Hales Corners, WI. The match safe is made of tin with nickel plated ends and a leather wrapped center decorated with gold lettering. The top end is hinged and the bottom end has an embossed striker. It measures 1 1/2 inches tall by 2 3/4 inches long and is in excellent condition. It appears to be unused. 16466-71QWT
