Once upon a time almost everyone kept one of these little tin bulb kits in their car’s glove compartment. This example dates from the 1920’s or 1930’s and is orange and black with great art deco styling. The lid is inscribed “Keep This Kit Filled With Westinghouse Mazda Lamps” and the sides are inscribed “Drive Sanely Carry Spare Bulbs.” Inside the tin are two original old style headlamp bulbs. The tin measures about three and a half inches tall by two and a half inches wide by one and three quarters inches deep and is in excellent condition with some edge wear and staining on the lid. 15523-51WP
